Jim Carrey – Yes Man

4128861020a1

Jim Carrey is back in this comedy about a man that decides to say Yes to everything for a year in order to spice his life up. From looking at the trailer, this movie looks hilarious. It seems like Jim Carrey is back to doing the type of movies that everybody loves him for. This reminds me of his performance in “Liar, Liar” or “Bruce Almighty”.

Movie Trailer: Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

underworld3

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the third installment in the Underworld series. I liked the first two movies a lot and this one looks like it will be similar to those. The thing I miss the most is Kate Beckinsale. Rhona Mitra isn’t a bad replacement though. Read the synopsis below:

The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.

This is the new movie coming out in May 2009. It’s sort of the Da Vinci Code part 2. The Da Vinci Code movie was good but I heard the book was better. We’ll see how this one turns out. Read the synopsis below:

Based on the novel ‘Angels and Demons’, the movie follows world-renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks), who is summoned to a Swiss research facility (CERN) to analyze a mysterious symbol seared into the chest of a murdered physicist. He discovers evidence of the unimaginable, the rebirth of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati, the most powerful underground organization ever to walk the earth.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker re-team for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed — “Fast and Furious.” Heading back to the streets where it all began, they rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert in the new high-octane action-thriller.

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner (Walker).
